I build and lead production software across web, mobile, backend, and cloud systems — with experience across healthcare, e-commerce, education, business platforms, integrations, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

What I Do

Full-stack systems, mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and technical leadership.

Full-Stack Engineering

Customer-facing applications and internal platforms — React/TypeScript frontends, Node.js APIs, integrations, and production releases.

Mobile Development

React Native mobile apps integrated with backend services, auth flows, and shared API layers across web and mobile.

Cloud & Serverless Infrastructure

AWS Lambda and API Gateway behind Serverless Framework IaC — environment config, deployments, and production debugging.

AI-Assisted Engineering Workflows

Cursor and LLM tools for faster debugging and implementation, with the same review and test bar as hand-written code.

Technical Leadership

Technical leadership on feature delivery: scoping, code review, mentoring, and coordinating with QA and support.

About

I'm a Lead Software Engineer with 10+ years building production software across healthcare, e-commerce, education, enterprise systems, and client-facing business platforms. My work spans customer-facing applications, internal workflow tools, mobile apps, API integrations, and cloud/serverless infrastructure.

At Swing Therapeutics (Mar 2022 – July 1, 2026), I led hands-on engineering across a React/Next.js internal operations platform, a React Native mobile application, Sanity content infrastructure, NestJS serverless REST integrations, and Python ETL pipelines — with a focus on release reliability, access control, and system maintainability. Previously, I built e-commerce systems at Spirit Hub, contributed to R&D IoT and enterprise web platforms at Charter Communications, and built custom learning platforms, LMS extensions, and interactive 3D training tools at American Technical Publishers.

I provide technical leadership for small engineering teams: scoping work, reviewing code, mentoring developers, and coordinating with QA and support before release. I use AI-assisted tools to move faster on implementation and debugging, and I validate everything through review, tests, and reproduction before it ships.

AI Engineering Workflow

AI tools accelerate day-to-day engineering. Production AI products need structured workflows, validation, and measurement.

Product example: RecipePilot AI

RecipePilot AI is my concrete implementation of this approach — a production-deployed cooking assistant that turns structured constraints into validated recipes through LangGraph, OpenAI structured outputs, deterministic Python checks, PostgreSQL persistence, and per-node observability.

  1. User constraints
  2. Structured API request
  3. LangGraph orchestration
  4. Task-specific LLM calls
  5. Deterministic validation
  6. Persistence
  7. Observability
  8. Measured optimization

Day-to-day AI tooling

I use Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot to explore approaches, debug faster, draft tests, and review unfamiliar code. They are accelerators — not sources of truth.

  • Exploring implementation options and tradeoffs before writing code
  • Debugging production issues and tracing unfamiliar code paths
  • Drafting tests and edge cases, then tightening them in review
  • Summarizing diffs and documenting decisions

How I validate output

Whether the AI is an assistant in my editor or a node in a product workflow, I treat its output as a draft until review, tests, and reproduction say otherwise.

  • Code review — my own and others'
  • Unit and integration tests where they add signal
  • Local reproduction and log analysis
  • Fit with existing architecture and conventions
  • QA pass before release on user-facing changes
